In einigen Fällen sind auf dem Decoder noch freie, unbenutzte und unbestückte  LötPADs vorhanden. Sie sind dann für zusätzliche Bestückungen vorgesehen, die für z.B. neue Funktionen des jeweiligen Modells benötigt werden. Dazu zählen z.B.:

  • Ausgänge/Verstärkerstufen für AUX3 bzw. AUX4
  • Rauchsatzansteuerung
  • Schleiferumschaltung Steuerung
  • Ansteuerung v. Telex-Kupplungen
  • Lichtsteuerung (führerstandsbezogen)
  • zusätzliche Lautsprecher
  • etc.
